Then, a single layer of pralines. Next, pour the rest of the apple sauce over the pralines. Top off with granola (I absolutely prefer <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P546P0?ie=UTF8&tag=valdotorg-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000P546P0">Kashi Mountain Medley Granola Cereal</a>) and spread on a <span style="font-style: italic;">thin</span> layer of cream cheese fruit dip. Crumble over a little bit of lemon short bread cookie and there you go! The results were better than expected! The video is full of squeaky toy sounds, barking and music. They were definitely drawn to the TV by the squeaking sounds. They settled in front of the TV and got themselves comfortable, even though their bed and designated couch were only a few feet away. Tommie started cleaning Jasper's ears and eyes, as he usually does. This time, however, he cleaned Jasper to appropriately-themed music from the DVD, and I captured the event on my cell phone's video camera--enjoy the clip!<br /></div><br /><center><object height="350" width="425"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9Amk02EGodo"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9Amk02EGodo" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="350" width="425"></embed> </object></center>John Vargatag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7446400.post-73255500489235413732007-07-30T02:06:00.000-04:002007-07-30T02:41:44.301-04:00Nacho à la Esquimaux<a href="http://valdot.org/uploaded_images/0728070235-739758.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="Click for a close-up!" src="http://valdot.org/uploaded_images/0728070235-739750.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><br /><div align="justify"><span style="color:#000000;">Here's a fun way to enjoy ice cream with your fingers!</span> <span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#000099;"><strong><em>Nacho à la Esquimaux</em></strong></span> <span style="color:#000000;">is simply your favorite flavours of</span> <strong><span style="font-family:lucida grande;"><em><span style="color:#99ff99;"><span style="color:#66ff99;">ice</span> </span><span style="color:#ff6666;">cream</span></em></span></strong> <span style="color:#000000;">on top of</span> <span style="color:#993300;"><strong><em>Cinnamon Sun Chips</em></strong></span> <span style="color:#000000;">smothered with</span> <span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#330000;"><strong><em>fudge</em></strong></span> <span style="color:#000000;">or </span><span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#cc9933;"><strong><em>butterscotch</em></strong></span> <span style="color:#000000;">sauce</span>. <span style="color:#000000;">This sweet variety of Sun Chip gives you a tangibly decadent dessert! </span><span style="color:#000000;">As pictured, I've used Hershey's Double Chocolate Sundae Syrup and Hard Shell toppings, along with</span> <span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#cc9933;"><strong><em>pralines</em></strong></span>, <strong><em><span style="font-family:lucida grande;"><span style="color:#ff0000;">s</span><span style="color:#ffff00;">p</span><span style="color:#33cc00;">r</span><span style="color:#000099;">i</span><span style="color:#993399;">n</span><span style="color:#ff6600;">k</span><span style="color:#cc66cc;">l</span><span style="color:#66ff99;">e</span><span style="color:#993399;">s</span></span></em></strong> <span style="color:#000000;">and <em>reduced fat</em></span> <span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#9999ff;"><strong><em>whipped cream</em></strong></span><span style="color:#000000;">...topped off with a</span> <span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#ff0000;"><em><strong>maraschino cherry! </strong></em><span style="color:#000000;">D</span></span><span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#ff0000;"><span style="color:#000000;">eep deep down in the center is the secret ingredient that makes this dessert extra enjoyable, sweet and special. Tonight I had the revelation that it actually tastes pretty close to a Big Mac (which, as you know, is a trademark of McDonald's Corporation, who undoubtedly reserves all their rights), yet is has none of the same ingredients. Here is the dead simple recipe that you can follow:</span></span></span><br /></div><span style="font-family: arial;font-family:lucida grande;" ><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-size:100%;"><br /></span></span></span><div style="text-align: center; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;"><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:130%;" >Ingredients</span><br /></div><ol style="font-family: arial; text-align: justify;"><li>One <a href="http://www.quorn.us//cmpage.aspx?section=WhatIsQuorn">Quorn patty</a>, microwaved for one minute in a paper towel. Basically fruit, sugar (no HFCS), water, pectin. I use an E.D.
